The Indianapolis Tea Party is calling all Hoosiers to rally at the Statehouse to loudly tell Congress to KILL THE HEALTHCARE BILL! President Obama has urged our legislators to pass this bill before March 18th. US Congressman Mike Pence has been a leader in the fight against this bill for a year, and he will lead the charge at our Hoosier rally as we make a LAST stand against government-run health care. This simple spirtied rally will include other speakers and patriotic music. Please come and bring friends, signs, patriotic flags, and loud voices. We want to make our voices heard from Washington Street....to Washington, DC!
General Rules for a Peaceful Protest:
- SIGNS: No Sticks Allowed: No vulgar wording or symbols; phrasing must pertain to demonstration theme; may not be posted or hung in the area. Do not block sidewalks & streets with your bodies or signs.
- No violence, no racism, no breaking the law.
- Participants must remain on the sidewalks & maintain 6 feet of clear walkway for pedestrian traffic.
- Do not leave any trash on private property or on the streets, sidewalks, & surrounding areas.
- Trea Law Enforcement Officers with respect.
- Distributing adhesive items such as bumper stickers is prohibited.
- No merchandise may be sold at the event.

If walking 2-3 blocks is not a problem for you, parking at one of the CIRCLE CENTRE GARAGES is the most reasonably priced parking areas, and they are easily accessible.
