Recommendations:

Foam board is best. Purchase at $1 Store; Wal-mart; or Office Supply Stores.
Yellow Signs show up best.
Use Acrylic Paint with a sponge brush. Colors are more saturated and read better than when using markers. In addtion, acrylic paint does not run if the sign gets wet. Apple Barrel brand paints are inexpensive and may be purchased at Michael's.
Paint phrases on both sides of board. People & photographers behind you will have something to read!
Sticks may not be used on sign boards on the Capitol property.
NO vulgar language or inappropriate symbols allowed.
Slogans should reflect fiscal responsibility, accountable representation, limited government, and adhering to the US Constitution.
