To restore limited government, fiscal responsibility, and accountable representation through citizen activism and education, in order to preserve the Constitution for the United States of America.
"Standard & Poor's Ratings Service sent shock waves through economic and political circles Monday when it lowered its outlook for U.S. debt from "stable" to "negative." Though it kept U.S. credit ratings steady, the agency warned that political deadlock could compel it to downgrade Washington's rating in just a couple years." READ ARTICLE
We are in a financial crisis! WE NEED EACH OF YOUR HELP! Now more than ever, we need each patriot to stand shoulder-to-shoulder and take a stand! We need to draw a line in the sand and say ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
Are you willing to stand with the Indianapolis Tea Party and your fellow patriots to take that stand? Will you continue to stand for our Constitution? Will you continue to stand for our liberties and freedoms?
Thank you for joining us in our fight to restore America! It cannot be just a few of us -- it has to be each one using the gifts we have been bestowed upon to bring restoration to America! Will you take that stand today with us and become even more engaged? We refuse to give up!
The Indianapolis Tea Party
It is far to easy to blame the other Party.....but what does the Constitution say?
Article I Section 9 "No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law."
NOTE: The Constitution doesn't ever make any reference to a Democrat or a Republican but rather to the House and the Senate and the President.
In November, people went to the polls and spoke. People want less government - less spending; people want limited government as defined in the Constitution.
It takes BOTH the House and the Senate to spend; however, it only takes one chamber to cut spending. If one chamber passes legislation which cuts spending and the other chamber disagrees, spending goes to zero for that/those department(s) when the appropriation bill is not enacted because the first chamber is resolved to cut spending.Spending could cease tomorrow if our representatives were serious about our fiscal health. We must know that both the House and Senate are responsible for the soaring deficits. If we are to bring change to our Country, we must stop pointing fingers at the Parties. It is time for the Senate, the House, the President, and 'We the People' to act responsibly in cutting unconstitutional programs and spending. As we return to that "limited government", we will all feel the squeeze as government contracts. However, we know that with this pain, our end reward will be liberty, prosperity and freedom.
Are you willing to eliminate entitlement programs and entire Federal Government Departments that are unconstitutional even when they benefit us directly?
Will you support the efforts of our Legislators when they begin to eliminate those programs that are unconstitutional?
Will you support our Legislators to restore America's fiscal health?
Call To Actions
It takes more than a few of us to do the below. It takes ALL OF US! If you have never done a Call To Action, we ask you to join us. If you have previously done the Call To Action, please do again and again and again! Spending MUST STOP!
1.) Call, Email & Fax your elected Representatives. Let them know that you are serious and support their effort to slash programs. Let them know that you are serious about cutting spending and will support them to do this very difficult task to restore America's fiscal health. And let them know that you are FED UP WITH SPEECHES. Let them know that YOU WANT RESULTS!
